Boy bullied by 5 girls in school
MY FRIEND'S son, who is studying at a premier primary school in Bukit Timah, was a victim of bullying by five girls in his school.
The boy is an upper primary pupil, but of small build for his age.
The girls tied his hair, took a picture of him and posted it online. The picture has since been removed.
Apart from causing him embarrassment and emotional stress, the girls also attacked the boy physically by throwing water bottles at his genitals, causing him to cringe and cry due to the extreme pain.
My friend spoke to the principal, but did not lodge a police report because she did not want to have the girls' records blemished.
What is worrying about this incident is that the bullying took place in one of the most prestigious primary schools here, where the girls are likely to move on to premier secondary schools and be awarded scholarships.
Apart from focusing on bullying in secondary schools, the Ministry of Education should also look into rampant bullying in primary schools, and assure parents their children are safe in school.

It's okay, it's alright. The boy is just a late bloomer. Wait till everything finishes, and people will treat him differently.
Confidence will plunge to an all-time-low, he will be too scared to do anything, he will become ghey, but time will change everything.
