I visited China when I was still a much smaller boy but by now I only remember the Professional Driver who drove us around and The Great Wall Of China.
There are about 30 plus students from the best Polytechnic in Singapore travelling and having fun together. The people here are generally nice though they might seem rude and curious at times. And one thing that China has is excellent service which makes Singapore really look like Pi Sai. =(
First day, we arrived at Fu Zhou. It is quite a remote area with few shops in between. However, as mentioned earlier, they have excellent service because the staff in the 'Airport Hotel' really went to lengths to serve and help us with his bestest ability. One of the highlights of this place is the Walmart that is located quite far away from our hotel.
Second Day, we went to Qing Dao. We paid a visit to the Underwater World and the Beach. The place was as foggy as Silent Hill and is quite a sight. The drivers are also very professional. Singaporeans usually signal to turn by turning on the signal lights. Here, the drivers sound the horn like nobody's business. In this place, it is much more developed and we had the chance to shop around and take a look at Gucci's bags and such.
Third day, we woke up very early again to take the bus to my current location, Wei Fang. It is less developed than Qing Dao but still better developed than our first destination. Tomorrow will be the day that we finally have a chance to meet our employers.
The food is good and cheap and suits my taste alright. Luckily there is no Pastamania.
Weather-wise, the coldest I've experienced is perhaps around 8 Degrees Celsius.
