Pasta Mania
All a long I've never liked the smell of Pasta Mania. It turns me off and so I've never tried it.
Just now, Wai Kit and his friend forced me to eat Pasta Mania. I ordered the Double Happiness Meal, the one with rice and prawns. Higher class name is Riso or something.
When I received the Pasta, I got a shock of my life because inside only got 3 prawns. Somemore the prawns very cute and small. Normally, I finish a meal very quickly. But this time special case, I ate halfway feel like vommitting. I don't know the Pasta don't like me or is it I don't like the Pasta. However, my Ah Ma used to say never waste food or else pimples will grow on your beautiful face, so I braced myself and finished it quickly.
It's one of the worst meals I've ever had. Now I still feel very funny and feel like throwing up. No wonder they say always trust your own instincts. After this experience, I think Mee Pok and Pig Liver is still the best.

No more A* for Math
Yesterday I did Math paper not enough time. The last time I experienced that was in Secondary 3 taking the Additional Math paper. One question 20 marks gone just like that. No more A for me. It makes the results slip less beautiful. Even beautiful pics can't make up for it.
Today and tomorrow are the papers for the 'core' modules, ie modules that is the reason I'm in this course. Recently I read the news that more Polytechnic graduates are getting jobs much more easily and their wallets are increasing in size due to the fat paycheck. I think that's only because the Government bought them big wallets. It also tells me that some are even drawing 3.5k/month at an age of only the late twenties with a Diploma. I believe that, but my Father says life is like Toto, they only tell u the winners of the draw and poke you with the tip of an iceberg, and make things look like a bed of roses but deep under they are thorns and the biggest winner is actually Singapore Pools because you don't know how many lost their bet.
The final paper is perhaps the most challenging paper I've come across in my Polytechnic years. And that's because the lecturer is a sicko who doesn't give us hints. =( In Polytechnic, attend classes = good results. The module is called Flight Basics. It tells us how planes fly etc, and reminds me of Geography, just that it sounds more high class and sopasdhopishdicated, and is nothing more than a module for bragging rights. Wait, the whole course is about bragging. People look at you in awe at the knowledge of your course of study. It's severely overrated.
At the moment, these are the grades I'm confident of :
A Engineering Materials
A Personal Financial Planning
B Engineering Math
B+ Aircraft Structure And Repairs
B+ Fundamentals Of Flight
C+ Report Writing And Presentation
C CAMM
Good luck to me. Last few days to the finishing line.
