Jay films "Against the Grain" MV in New York at a temperature of -8℃
周杰倫（周董）一向以發揚華人的音樂成就為榮，新專輯一首中國風濃郁的歌《逆鱗》，他特地與第一代「南拳媽媽」，和導演鄺盛直奔紐約近郊冒著攝氏零下八度低溫拍攝，突顯華人在美國生活也不容受欺負。他笑說：「『逆鱗』是指平時溫馴的龍一旦被人誤觸身上逆長的鱗片也會暴怒，象徵華人自尊不能輕易被踐踏！」
Jay is indeed a representative of Chinese people in musical talents. He, together with the "first generation" Nan Quan Mama and Director Kuang Sheng, went to New York to film the MV of his song, "Against the Grain", which has a great oriential taste. The Chinese are somehow discriminated in the USA and regarding this, Jay laughed as he said, "The song, 'Against the Grain', describes that no matter how a dragon is tamed, it will still get mad and angry when people accidentially touches its long and grainy scales. It symbolizes that it is not easy to bully a Chinese, now matter how the Chinese are discriminated."
去年底周董趁著到紐約開唱，特地將這首歌的場景也一併選在風景如畫的紐約。MV的故事內容由他構思，他刻意安排自己和老實的宇豪，詮釋兩個打工賺錢討生活的華人子弟，而彈頭卻和第一代南拳媽媽的成員Gary，扮起嬌生慣養的富家子弟，不但和黑人廝混攪和，最後更混入黑幫，當街逞兇鬥狠欺負起宇豪。
Jay held a concert in New York at the end of last year and using his time there, he filmed the MV. He chose a scenic place to match with the background of the song. Jay thought of the story of the MV and he himself and Yu Hao acted as Chinese labourers, working very hard to earn their living. As for Dan Tou and Gary, they acted as rich teenagers who were pampered since childhood. They mixed with the Blacks and eventually became gangsters and in the MV, they were to bully Yu Hao on the street.
